Michael Willgrass continued his fine form of the summer season by taking 3 out of 4 titles at this year's Norfolk Closed. After coming back from the National Road to Wimbledon Finals held at the All England Club Mike looked sharp as he dominated the under 14 singles and doubles events destroying Alexander Havercroft 6-0, 6-3 in the semis and former National number one Johnnie Carmichael-Plester 6-1, 6-2 in the final. For the doubles Mike paired up with Havercroft and cruised through the event to beat Josh Trett and William Foster in the Final 6-1 7-6.
Unfortunately he wasn't able to make it 4 out of 4 as he lost to Harry Weeds in the under 16 final but picked up some good ranking points.
After the event Mike said
I have been really pleased with my week, it is always good to win in your home city with the extra pressure and i couldn't have played any better!!
